Ah, the food! The food!
We're really looking forward to this dinner. We always are when it comes to Suffolk because its so darn easy to get the most beautiful produce, and produce that is grown locally. It's a real treat for us.
Now, how we're going to play this one is over two courses. We'll sit down together over a rich, warming dish of braised meat (QUINN*S speciality) and beautiful accoutrements. We'll open some wine, get chatting and really savour this main dish of what will be leg of lamb, pomme purée and a couple extra, incredibly important, supporting ingredients. There will no doubt be an appearance from a fresh pickle, a quintessentially QUINN*S thing to do, to help our guests cut through that tender lamb and its rich, rich jus.
You'll find your main course is followed by a soft, delicate and crunchy serving of deep dish, caramel pear pie. What more could you want? The champion winter fruit of the UK the pear is and we're going to elevate it, worship it and devour it in one go. None of that shallow stuff. No, no, no. DEEP DISH. Think cartoon pies. Yes, you've go it. Oh and did we mention the caramel? (We may even serve it with some ice cream).
While our exact wine selection is still a delightful mystery, rest assured that with Richard's expert guidance from the Framlingham wine shop, we will offer a spectacular array of wines to complement our dishes and satisfy every palate. Enjoy these fine selections at £8 per glass or £35 per bottle.
